Rwanda | 2025
The first occasion, in six years of trying, that I had a silverback gorilla in a forest clearing
Sightings like this are exceptionally rare. Mountain gorillas live in thick rainforest conditions in Rwanda and Uganda, making photography a real challenge. I've lost track of the number of treks I've been a part of and this, my final opportunity in 2025, finally offered the chance I'd been waiting for.
