One of the fiercest looking lions i've photographed
In 2023, I visited the Serengeit hoping to photograph the famous black maned lion, Bob Jnr. He was killed by rival males two days before I got there and so, naturally, I was eager to photograph the lions that had killed him. Needless to say they did not disappoint.

"The serengeti offers more photo opportunities than almost anywhere else i work. No two shoots here are ever the same, and I seem to be visiting this corner of East africa more each year."
