Svalbard, Arctic Circle
Life 79° North is harsh and cold. The wind bites at your finger tips as you focus the camera on your subject, the silence falls heavy on your senses and a land made up of two colours, blue and white, is still the most vibrant on earth.
Himalayas, India
Life here is tough. Photography electrifying. The Himalayas has a very “us against you” feel about it. Each mountain blends in to the next, snow capped ridges block out the sky, somewhere, silently, a snow leopard watches you.

Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Home to some of the world’s last surviving Super Tusker elephants, Amboseli is where William made his name as a photographer. Dust devils sweep the horizon as elephants follow in their wake. Mt. Kilimanjaro looms over them all.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya
Here the last two northern white rhino in the world live. Living metaphors of the global wildlife situation but similarly pillars of hope. Efforts are underway to bring the sub-species back from the brink, if it can be achieved it gives hope to the fate of many, many more.
Mara-Serengeti, Kenya & Tanzania
Perhaps the most photographed eco-system in the world. Thousands of photographers and tourists flock here every year, pushing the level required for originality ever higher. For big cat photography there may be no better place.
